Jason Hodzelmans (SGCNZ NSSP 2008, SGCNZ YSC 2009)
Jason Hodzelmans attended Ashburton College and was involved in the SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival in 2008, going on to travel to London with the SGCNZ Young Shakespeare Company in 2009.
Following this Jason moved to Auckland in 2010 and trained in Acting at Unitec, graduating with a Bachelor of Performing Arts. Performing credits as of late include Project L (TVNZ Film), Field Punishment No 1 (TVNZ Film) and a recent guest appearance on Westside.
Jason continues in his role as the creative producer of Auckland based theatre company Fractious Tash after various successful seasons of work including Titus as part of Q Presents 2013, the sell out season of Earnest at Q in 2014, and most recently Not Psycho as part of Q Presents 2015.
Jason works full-time in casting for TV & Film and currently is producing and acting in a return season of his companies Titus. Titus is a smash hit rework of Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy, and played in Auckland at the Pop-up Globe, March 2016 (more info on his company and the show head to www.fractash.com)
