ShakesBeer in the Garden: The Taming of the Brew | A fundraiser for SGCNZ

10/02/2021

This February, Garage Project, Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ, Playshop & Southern Cross Garden Bar Restaurant join forces once again to bring you a fundraiser with a difference. Come on down & enjoy a bit of The Bard in The Garden Bar!

ENTERTAINMENT

Join PlayShop as they perform Shakespeare like you’ve never seen it before (or again). From the best improvisors at this event, either for tragedy, comedy, history, pastoral, pastrol-comical, historical-pastoral, tragical-historical, tragical-comical-historical-pastoral, scene individable, or poem unlimited, an entirely new Shakespeare play created before your very eyes! These talented thespians will interact with all, groundlings to gallows, to ensure a lively and memorable evening. If we be waspish, best beware our sting.

CHARITY BEER

In honour of the event, Garage Project will be treating us to a special charity batch of Ruffneck: an all new beer brewed just for this event. Full proceeds from the first keg will be going directly to SGCNZ, which will be pouring from a pop up bar in the Garden.
